   Richard Hayes Phillips, who
is from around here, wrote a
book called "Witness to a Crime:
A Citizens' Audit of an American
   Election." Essentially it's an
   investigation that took three
years and proves that the Ohio
   election was rigged in hundreds
   of different ways. It includes
a CD with 1200 photographs of
   ballots showing evidence of
   tampering. I heard him speak
   and it's a disturbing story.
At the end he said that the
   question people usually want him
to answer is whether he thinks
that a valid election would have
had a different result, if Kerry
would have won. He said that he
   thought it probably would have

   changed the election but that
isn't the point. If we have a
   representative democracy or a
   republic or whatever you want
to call it, our only power as
   individuals is our vote. We
entrust the people we elect to
   create our laws, to enforce
them, to run our country. And
if our vote doesn't count, then
we have nothing. Then we are
   powerless and disenfranchised
and we don't live the lives we
   think we do. This election
   undermined the very foundation
of the United States of America.

This monstrous undertaking covers the 2004 election results in the State of Ohio. Remember, the chief executive for the biggest vote fraud machine operation in this country said he would deliver Ohio to Bush. He did. What makes Phillips' investigation so compelling is the book is filled with concrete proof that the voters of Ohio were robbed of their right to fair and impartial elections. The amount of work that went into this investigation is staggering: 30,000 images of forensic evidence, then personally examining 126,000 ballots, 127 poll books and 141 voter signature books from 18 counties in Ohio. This is the definitive and documented evidence of crimes that cannot, must not be ignored.
